Many will never forget the relationship between the two M’s; Motorola and Microsoft. And though Microsoft was a partner of Motorola in the latter’s golden years, when Motorola started going down, Microsoft seemed to change its ways too. Motorola CEO has now has some interesting things to tell about the recent events that have unfolded in the industry. When Motorola DROID was a big hit Android and Motorola were big hits together.
Jha severed the product development with the operating system to keep the company from going under during a time of crises as the only thing they wanted focus was on Android. So things are starting to look pretty green over at Motorola land, Jha has a lot of ideas such as using the Motoblur interface with some of their set-top boxes. Jha goes on to say, “If I had more money for R&D, I'd be developing an operating platform."

Samsung has been developing Bada on the basis of money. When it comes to Microsoft's announcement about Windows Phone 7 Series platform, he goes on further to say, "I'm open to it...I think I need diversity in our portfolio."
