It was felt that Android devices were mainly left neglected as far as Opera Mini was concerned. But now we can see that Opera Mini 5 beta has been introduced for the Android devices lately. This version of Opera Mini is available for all Androids out there so that they get a taste of compressed browsing too. Last week the native Windows Mobile version of Opera Mini 5 was introduced and now this; things really look good for the UI right now!

LG it seems has been having a nice time these days as it has just been a week or so and the company has revealed yet another handset. LG GW370 Shannon is what we are talking about right now. It is another touch-based phone with QWERTY keyboard and a trackball, something to really look forward to! As far as looks are concerned, the new LG GW370 Shannon looks quite like the popular KS360 and the recently announced KS365.

We have all been anxiously waiting for the Symbian^3 which according to many is due this year, in fact it could be as early as Q3, a live demo has just hit the internet. Though quite surprisingly it runs on a laptop rather than a phone but still this is the first time that this user interface has been presented in front of a whole audience. Let’s see what this new UI has in store for us. There is news of a Symbian^4 as well, so yes the things are getting interesting!

One handset with Bluetooth 3.0 has already been launched by Samsung that is the Wave which will hit the stores in a few weeks or so. But the first Android based smartphone with the latest version of Bluetooth was still being anxiously awaited for. Well that suspense has ended now as the Samsung SHW-M120S is here. No images have been released by the company neither are there any leaked pictures on the net as yet.

Traditionally Vodafone has long been manufacturing low-profiled branded handsets manufactured by various makers. They have also decided to come up with a smartphone by the name of Vodafone 845. It’s expected that this phone will run on the latest Android 2.1 and will be equipped with Vodafone 360 service. It will become available in May and if rumours are true you will be able to get a set for yourself fir just around 150 Euros or so.

Users of Palm Pre in Europe will soon be getting three of the most popular games for free, very soon. These are Need for Speed Undercover, Monopoly and The Sims 3. It's a limited time offer so you'd better hurry and get them before the deadline. Now this is definitely something that people with a lot of time on their hand will look forward to. But of course this is something that raises a cause of concern for bosses as nobody can control what their employees are doing on their mobiles.

For those of you who do not know much or have conveniently forgotten, Samsung decided to have a be-all-and-end-it-all display at this year's MWC. It really supersedes every other mobile display that we have come in contact with. Samsung S8500 Wave is said to be the first set that introduces us to it and Samsung have recently released a promo video highlighting its strongest points. The major difference between this and a regular touchscreen AMOLED display is that the Super AMOLED display doesn't require a separate touchscreen layer because it has it built-in.

There has been some news about this for quite some time now but we can very confidently say that this time it is for real. It is being said that HTC HD2 will launch on T-Mobile USA very soon. A lot has happened since we heard this rumour sometime back and much of that has been responsible for increase in anticipation. Sometime back we heard that the HTC HD2 for T-Mobile USA packs 576MB RAM whereas it later turned out that all HD2's pack 576MB.

It is said that in the shape of Motorola BACKFLIP, AT&T will be selling their first Android phone soon. The Motorola BACKFLIP is a full-QWERTY phone running Android with MOTOBLUR UI and a very interesting keyboard. You will get some hints from the name here. It’s a pretty standard Android phone apart from the keyboard thing with Android 1.5 Cupcake, 3.1" HVGA touchscreen, 528MHz CPU, 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM and a 5MP camera, 7.2Mbps HSDPA (and quad-band GSM/EDGE of course), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

Cookie sets are in these days. We just love to love them and with the LG GS290, we welcome the third Cookie officially in the Cookie clan. There are a few things that might not be very acceptable to a lot of people like camera resolution reduced and the absence of 3G, but it does manage to retain the cartoon UI and standard audio jack so yes it still has hope for those who want to consider buying it.

So since every other company is now doing it, LG has decided to come up with a smartphone too. As defined by Microsoft it comes under the second category devices, mainly because of its sliding QWERTY keyboard. It is expected to be released this September. It seems that LG wants to be out with this device sooner than later as this is supposed to be their first Windows Phone 7 device. There is also some information which says that Panther is the codename of the previously leaked QWERTY-packing Series 7 running LG device.

Sony Ericsson usually gets updates on a regular basis and that is what makes the sets released by this company so awesome. Their handset Sony Ericsson Satio will be having a new update anytime soon now which should bring over WVGA (864 x 480 pixels) video recording ability to the current VGA capabilities. That’s something to look forward to definitely. Other things that might lure you into buying this good looking mobile are direct Facebook and YouTube uploads.
