Hulu to enter the mobile market?January 31st, 2010 - 11:52 pm by Wajiha H.
Who wouldn’t want to watch videos on a mobile but it unfortunately didn’t seem very possible until the advent of Hulu. People who have used SkyFire web browser have been able to watch all their favorite videos on Hulu. Hulu chief Jason Kilar is making no secret of his intention to launch his presence in the mobile market. They want to do all or none as far as the current mobile scene is concerned; big aspirations, bigger dreams.
So keeping this in view not only one platform but all major platforms are going to be targeted by the company. Kilar is extremely happy about the announcement of iPad it seems as he is of the opinion that the TV streaming service will embrace any device, and wouldn’t lock itself to one platform. So practically with all the platforms available these days, iPhone OS, Android, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and webOS, Hulu is ready to take on the mobile world.
Kilar also added that Hulu expects mobile to be complimentary to the desktop. Now this is what we call an interesting statement to make!
