Samsung i8910 Omnia HD is a renowned HD-recording handset with a 3.7" AMOLED display screen which everyone loves to love. So a special edition is what it needs to finally give it the status of an invincible phone. Samasung has recently made public its intentions to come up with a 24 karat gold edition of their extremely fashionable Samsung i8910 Omnia HD multimedia handset. The Samsung i8910 Omnia HD Gold Edition will be made in pure 24 karat gold and will be equipped with a number of exclusive accessories.

Handsets with 12 MP cameras are all the rage these days since the advent of Sony Ericson Aino. Their popularity of course makes leaked images, specs or even videos of these sets a pretty acceptable fact. Nokia N87 is one of the most highly anticipated handsets in the N-series and due to popular demand we hereby present the some leaked specs and a design mockup of this crazy 12 megapixel handset. Will it give Sony Ericsson Aino a run for its money? Let’s wait and see.

LG GW820 eXpo, initially known as Monaco has recently been announced by AT&T. Equipped with the arty Windows Mobile 6.5, this Smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz Snapdragon CPU which also serves as the main highlight of the handset by the way. This is also a full QWERTY side-slider and has especially been designed keeping business executives in mind, who are always on the go. The much anticipated phone also comes with a 3.2" WVGA touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel camera and a full QWERTY keyboard along with a GPS and 3G.

Now the current economic recession, despite being disturbing for many has been a blessing in disguise for Samsung as it meant increased sales and market share. They have only recently announced that they have achieved a total of 50 million touch phones sales, and all were mostly sold this year. Almost 20% of the total sales have been grabbed by the Samsung S5230 Star, which was out only in May. This has been one of the fastest selling sets of Samsung.

Nokia N900 UI is about to get a portrait mode-enabling update very soon, if the rumours are anything to go by. Now the thing that basically worries us is that this functionality was already there in the set but was not unlocked; so it doesn’t really make sense that it should be inculcated in the set from scratch. Upgrade should not be a problem of course. There is a very interesting story behind it of course as it was through an accident that this feature was discovered.

Acer is basically known for its laptop expertise but it has only recently ventured into mobile technology and now the world of Android with the advent of Acer Liquid. This is said to be their take on a WinMo / Android mix which basically runs on an Android 1.6 Donut on a Snapdragon CPU with a WVGA touchscreen and a 5MP camera. The hardware is not very different from the Acer neoTouch and doesn’t show us anything in particular which might make us happy about what we are about to have.

We have been hearing lately that Sony Ericsson Aino has been pulled out of various stores due to software issues. According to this news, there are not many sets which have been affected due to which the damage is hopefully not that much. It was disturbing news to say but the least. But we are hearing now that Sony Ericsson Aino was not removed from the stores after all and it was all a big rumour.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 is of those phones which have been waited for eagerly but have not been released as yet. Their immense popularity however pushed us to release a small preview of the thing. It was officially announced at an event in London. Sony Ericsson showed the phone to the audience which means that the hardware is not going to be facing any unusual changes, though the software is still in its processing stages. This is a very little insight of what we should be expecting of this phone which is due to be released somewhere around the first quarter of the next year.

The Samsung S7070 Diva is for those people who really want to know what they want, for the style-aware people and for those who really want a handset that would exude class. One distinct feature of this set is the 3D quilted pattern shape made on the back panel. The Samsung S7070 Diva sets of as the first of many mobiles which are specifically female oriented and have been manufactured keeping women in mind. There is also a diamond back key dead center below the display.

Samsung has only recently announced its new Diva collection consisting two new phones, the Samsung S7070 Diva and the Samsung S5150 Diva folder. This has basically been released as a fashion accessory and will be liked by all the divas out there, to be sure. Lets take a look at both of these sets one by one.
