The S40 on the inside has changed as well, throwing Ovi Store and basic multi-tasking together. Xseries is composed of only two phones right now. The Nokia X6 is a touch phone running Symbian and is considered to be an elite phone whereas the X3 is an affordable Series 40 slider.

There are many that fit into the category of the ugly phones; like the new (yet unreleased) Nokia 5330 XpressMusic the Motorola W7 which is only available in Asia, for which we all must be grateful! The Samsung B7620 actually got ruined due to the dreadful Armani branding. We have also seen that ugly hones have been pretty popular in the US as compared to the other places. These include Motorola Karma QA1, Samsung Comeback, Motorola VA76r Tundra and Nokia Surge (also sold in Europe as the 6760 Slide).

Actually people were thinking of it as another iPhone and were definitely very disappointed to find a thing that was anything but. Now it is a big phone, as in a pretty big phone and together with that gigantic Nokia N97, it seems seriously magnanimous. Also users have been complaining about crashes and reboots. Now Nokia N97 is probably the last set that uses Symbian 60 at its maximum, the future inevitable holds a place for Maemo.

YEAR 2009 REVIEW: Best phone of 2009: Apple iPhone 3G S

December 27th, 2009 - 07:50 pm by Wajiha H.
Apple iPhone 3G S did not really look like a very promising phone when it first showed its face to us due to its many problems, chiefly the fact that this is one phone that has not been designed to multi task particularly. Now we have to keep in mind that the OS is a descendent of UNIX which could not multitask to save its life. Now some other problems which were also looking a turn off were a relatively low-resolution display, a camera that can't match the megapixel count of rivals and a battery that is not user replaceable!

December 24th, 2009 - 02:07 pm by Wajiha H.
It has been seen recently that Nokia’s financial performance has not been very outstanding. Also as a recent study by MKM Partners show, the company that has profited the most so far is RIM, because of the countless and popular BlackBerry devices that they are known for; selling much much better than the Nokia counterarts, in Q3 2009. All this has resulted in a very good fate for RIM on a market that was dominated by Nokia up till now.
