O2 is going to release the GSM version of the Palm Pre in Europe very soon that is as soon as mid-October this year. O2 Germany, UK and Ireland websites do have some information about this. Movistar doesn’t say much about this matter even when practically it was the one that should be releasing the Palm Pre in Spain. Many people are of the opinion that maybe it was just because they forgot to put up this important announcement on their website.

To combat this Deutsche Telekom is seriously considering a bid made by Sprint Nextel to merge with T-Mobile USA. It is being said that this merger, if happens can make T-Mobile compete better with larger rivals AT&T and Verizon. The Company has also sent a copy of the multi-dollar takeover bid of Sprint to the Deutsche Bank for them to analyze it in detail.

Motorola Dext to be launched by Orange UK

It has recently been announced by Motorola that it will be launching a global version of the CLIQ Smartphone called the Motorola DEXT with the collaboration of Orange UK, Telefonica, and America Movil. All of these versions of CLIQ are due to hit the markets somewhere around in the fourth quarter of this year and there has been no update on the pricing as well. T-Mobile, has recently announced in a press conference that the low-cost music phone with special music keys, Nokia 5130, is going to be offered for only $30. Not only does the mobile boast particular music keys, it also come equipped with a stereo Bluetooth, an FM radio and an impeccably long battery life with around six hours of talk time and 12 days of standby. Sprint decreases the market price of Palm Pre

It has been rumored that Sprint is going to cut down the price of the Palm Pre to around $150 i.e. a 50 percent price cut so that it can bag a better market share. The Company has also announced that on the purchase of a new Palm Pre and a two-year contract, the consumers are going to receive a special $100 service credit. This deal ends on October 31st, and people who want to switch from one service provider to another can benefit from it.

LG Android to be released this year

Accidents due to texting while you’re driving are bound to happen and they will if you don’t stop it right now. There has been a Federal legislation in circulation pressuring states to ban texting while driving so that they do not get distracted which can result in an untimely accident or perhaps even death.
