It is now being heard that Apple and China Unicom are close to announcing a deal to sell a different version of the iPhone without Wi-Fi in China somewhere in September. These two companies are in conformity on major issues including prices and so the announcement can actually come as early as in September. The China based iphone will be be coming without the Wi-fi as there is a government rule which requires this.

Nokia, the world's largest mobile phone maker, recently came out with its first high-end smart phone N900, the basic quality of which is that it runs on Linux software. This is not the first time that it has tried its luck at Linux, in 2005, Nokia came out with Nokia 770 which failed miserably because it did not calling services. The basic aim is to compete with the Apple’s iphone as proclaimed by Nokia’s head of sales, "I'm sure this will help us in the market situation with iPhone. This thing has been moving at a very well-planned pace long before there was any sign of an iPhone."

It has recently been found out that people with mobile technology such as Blackberries end up working an extra 15 hours a week as it is impossible to stop checking emails even they’re out of workplace. A survey of some 600 employees coming from different places has proved that blackberry is actually turning them into a hopeless workaholic as they are linked to the world even while they’re at home. The research done by the Employment law firm Peninsula has said that invariably a working week is being extended to around 55 hours for many people these days.
