iPhone 4G, screen resolution confirmedJune 1st, 2010 - 09:49 pm by Wajiha H.
The iPhone recently got unveiled in the Czech Republic, well, accidently of course. As usual they found it out somewhere lying around and then all hell broke loose. iPhone 4G has all of its essential features reviewed but one thing that was left was maybe the screen resolution which finally got covered with this find. Now iPhone 4G was examined under a microscope and it was found out that the screen resolution is around HVGA - 640x960, up from 320x480 and the same LCD IPS matrix has been used as the iPad's.
Some photos have been taken and they have been widely circulated over the net too. Of course not many would be able to understand what a higher screen resolution means but well one can be rest assured that amongst all the GSM phones right now in the market, the screen of iPhone 4G is being said to have the highest resolution and rumours have it that it could be the most pixel-dense screen ever fitted on a smartphone.
The iPhone 4G would be expected to cater to the increased demand of the higher resolution output - especially in graphically intensive applications. So the rumor of the 1 GHz iPad SoC powering the iPhone 4G definitely sounds more credible now.
We’ll keep you posted on any new changes that take place regarding the iPhone 4G.
