HTC HD2 might still be deprived of the amazing Windows Mobile which is why hackers are trying their level best to do something and get Android onto the handset. In the upcoming HTC EVO 4G, the Android version used is quite compatible with the HTC HD2. Of course the development process is not exactly a piece of cake but it is speeding up and we can now think about the reality of having an open platform gracing the device.
 This development surely consists of many stages of development and each one of these is slowed down by a number of problems. These days there is another problem faced by the xda-developers just when they finally moved past the video player stage. Many people out there want to finally be able to see something like Android 2.2 fully transferred onto an HTC phone. But of course this is a huge task and they definitely have to tackle a lot of problems before being able to fully handle it. we can really do without all the other fancy stuff that an HTC HD2 might not have but yes to have Android on it will be something really cool.
