Samsung T959 probably coming to T-MobileMay 16th, 2010 - 08:03 pm by Wajiha H.
A lot is being said about Samsung’s pride and joy, T959 but not much on how the handset actually looks. Features of the phone are very much like the original Galaxy S e.g. the presence of Android, TouchWiz 3.0 UI, a 4 inch AMOLED touchscreen display, Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi. But now we have also heard that the Bluetooth SIG has recently approved the Samsung SCH-T959, and like all Samsung mobiles under this series, SCH-T959 will also be headed to T-Mobile.
But this in itself becomes a bit confusing as firstly, the Bluetooth SIG also refers to the T959 as the T939! We are hoping for it being just a typo as the T939 (Samsung Behold II) is already available in the market everywhere. The other thing that makes it much confusing is the T959’s User Agent Profile which shows a display with 320 x 480 pixels only but we still are hoping that this is a mistake and nothing more than that.
A video has also been posted on the net a couple of days back or so but it seems that it has been removed now. Anyway the video actually removed all the remaining doubts of T959 being a US version of the Samsung Galaxy. Whatever it is, we’ll keep you posted on progress in this matter!
