Nexus One online sales to be reducedMay 15th, 2010 - 11:34 pm by Wajiha H.
Nexus One has been out for around four months or so but needless to say, the sales have been but disappointing, therefore Google is now rethinking about its distribution policy. The sales were basically based on online stores, which, people in general are not very comfortable with. So the sales were naturally not up to the mark. They have now decided to just put a stop to the whole thing and shift the sets to the more traditional outlets.
![]() According to the Google Engineering vice president, Andy Rubin, more and more people are now warming up to the idea of buying things from online stores, but even in today’s day and age, there are many customers who want to hold the thing first to think of spending cash on it. They are probably not going to put a complete stop to the availability of Nexus One in online stores, just going to increase the number of units in retail stores. Europe has accepted the mobile whole heartedly and the sales of Nexus One are the best there, undoubtedly. Ok now one thing that I have noticed too is the fact that there are absolutely no good advertising for the set even when it’s Google we are talking about, a company which can afford to make good ads! But now that they have finally taken a step to improve their sales, it seems that they still have faith in the set. This is one exceptional smartphone and Google should try their level best to let this fact be known to all and sundry! Source Related ArticlesRelated articles to Nexus One online sales to be reduced.
