Windows Mobile phones hit by an international caller virus?!April 11th, 2010 - 10:55 pm by Wajiha H.
Windows Mobile phones are lately in trouble as many of the owners have reported some unknown international calls in their calling history!! Now this raises an alarm as there might be a virus/trojan going around that is causing all of this to happen. This virus comes in the shape of a game, called “3D Anti-Terrorist” which loads a trojan onto the handset and is time triggered monthly to spontaneously dial certain international numbers.
It is quite horrific as you don’t even know what’s happening behind your back. Everything becomes clear when you get your monthly bill which has a few unknown international calls in it too.
You don’t need to worry too much though as there are some options being offered by the team over at XDA Developers but the scary part is that you will have to let go of some files. Of course a master reset is the best solution to this problem provided you can afford it.
