Last year, for those who remember, a phone came out “Chairman” which was a luxury phone; but it went out of stock too soon. Now it seems that its Swiss maker Ulysse Nardin is working on coming out with its successor. According to the sources, the new Chairman will be equipped with a touchscreen, 8MP camera and some good 32GB worth of storage. Now this I must also mention is not your usual run of the mill sort luxury phone.
You won’t find it to be as shiny as its exterior suggests maybe. It is basically an Android-driven smartphone with some very apt features which in itself is something that is not found in many a luxury phone these days. The chairman also has the watch-like kinetic rotor system for passive recharging of the battery.

Well the specs sheet of the new Chairman is pretty amazing as it has a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen (with multi-touch support) and a Freescale i.MX processor, 8 megapixel camera, a fingerprint reader for locking the thing, 32GB internal memory and HD video playback. The connectivity is also duly covered with 3G with HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB. There are Bluetooth stereo speakers and a fancy wood dock. The colours that the luxury phone will be coming in are stainless steel or pink gold each of 1846 units as this is the year Ulysse Nardin was founded. Yes, sadly this is a limited series.

The price according to some rumours will be around $12 800 to $49 500 in the US and may be different in other countries.
