The Orange Boston comes to town!April 16th, 2010 - 09:31 pm by Wajiha H.
The Orange Boston is a smartphone which is being publicized as one of the lowest priced smartphones around at the price of one Euro! Sounds too good to be true and it probably is do too, as usually all smartphones cost this much when bought on a contract. So this could be just another advertising gimmick and nothing more; to get the right amount of attention. The price becomes more unbelievable when you go through the specs sheet and come to know that the Orange Boston is equipped with Android.
![]() The Orange Boston has the Android favorite 3.2" HVGA touchscreen and runs Android 1.6 Donut. The hardware bits include a 600MHz Qualcomm CPU and 256MB RAM – all that you need if you’re into multitasking that is. Loads of connectivity you can get with Wi-Fi (b/g), Bluetooth with EDR and GPS. You will also find a microSD card slot. Now there is one feature which we know you’d love that is the 5MP camera! Now you understand why we were a bit doubtful about the One Euro price! Rumours have it that the Orange Boston should launch in Spain, the UK, Poland and Romania for one euro on a contract. Initially the date was 12th of April but now we think it will be sometime later. We still can’t be sure when that will be though. Let’s just keep our fingers crossed. Source Related ArticlesRelated articles to The Orange Boston comes to town!.
