The Nokia N8, is Nokia’s latest offering to have been released by the Finnish giant. With stuff like a 12MP camera and 720p video recording, this phone is on its way to becoming the biggest new thing in the mobile world. There are two different TV-out interfaces - the standard 3.5mm audio jack and a mini-HDMI port as well as a Dolby Digital Plus Surround Sound over the HDMI link that the camera proudly offers.

You will be able to get as much as up to 3 hours and 20 minutes of video capture or 7 hours of video playback all thanks to the 1200mAh battery. You will have a total of 12 hours talk time at least and the total music time that the battery can handle is around 50 hours at least.

Connectivity issues are almost none in the Nokia N8 as you get a quad-band GSM/EDGE, a five-band 3G, a Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS with A-GPS, microUSB with USB On-the-go and a built-in FM transmitter. Ovi Maps for free voice-guided navigation will also be included in the mobile for sure.

If that was not enough, we must also tell you that the N8 is the first device that runs Symbian^3 and also supports Qt cross-platform apps and UI framework that basically allow the development of apps that run on Symbian and MeeGo. With multiple of homescreens and its proficiency in social networking, this is one mobile that will probably go a long way.

It is being expected that the new Nokia N8 will probably hit the stores somewhere around the third quarter with an projected retail price of 370 euro (500 US dollars). The colours that it will be available in are Dark Grey, Silver White, Green, Blue, Orange.
