iPhone OS 4.0, the much awaited version of the iPhone OS version is finally here and as expected the whole internet has now been taken over by videos with its first hand demonstration. These videos give a brief insight into the many new features introduced by the iPhone OS 4.0 and how they are going to perform. You can deduce from the videos that even when the OS is in its beta stage, it turns out to be pretty nice.
 The different thing that Apple has probably done with the 4.0 version of their platform is that it comes equipped with an API that allows 3rd party apps to hook to one of their constantly running background services. But normal day to day users will not really feel a lot of difference. The latest App Folders are also very nice and intuitive and all you’ll have to do will be to place one icon on top of the other. That way the newly created folder will be named automatically, depending on the category of the apps inside. You will be able to rename it as you wish of course. Apple CEP recently claimed, "In multitasking, if you see a task manager... they blew it" and that "Users shouldn't ever have to think about closing apps".
