It seems that once a luxury, Google Maps is something that most mobile phones now come equipped with more or less. Now the well-known maps are also available for BlackBerry and the good thing is that Google also brings voice search, Buzz as well as other improvements to the application, making it all the more exciting now. This feature is well integrated into the Android platform, but with Google Maps 4.0 for BlackBerry you can get this only on the RIM handsets.

The languages in which this feature is available are English (in multiple accents) and Mandarin Chinese. Google Buzz is Google’s attempt to break into the social networking world and it is very compatible with the new Blackberry. Another significant feature is the Web History synchronization; that is whenever you type anything in the search box, suggestions will be given by Google; just like in the case of a PC.

Some more interesting features are Scale Bar and Terrain layer for hiking enthusiasts, searching for businesses near an address and reporting map errors and errors in business listings.
