Google Nexus One and Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 was only the start for the Vodafone as the carrier has recently announced its plans to add two new top of the line Android-running handsets to its family. The HTC Desire and HTC Legend were the two handsets that have had the honour of having everyone interested in them at MWC this year. Vodafone UK wishes to give its customers the very first glimpse of these awesome phones as soon as they are launched.

The HTC Desire can be yours for 440 GBP whereas Legend for 390 GBP but if that’s more than what you can afford, there is another option too; you can save yourself some money by signing a contract.

These Android-based smartphones will become available sometime in April as per the Vodafone UK site. But still not much is known about the prices of these mobiles.

It is also not clear as to whether the HTC Legend will be sold exclusively by Vodafone at launch or not. But Amazon UK is promising HTC Legend availability on 1 April so let’s see how things turn out to be.
