Spring 2010 UK Market Update

March 7th, 2010 - 11:23 pm by Wajiha H.
This year’s MWC has been long gone but the devices that have been announced there will hit UK stores in a few weeks time or so. I’ll give here some of the current market details about HTC Desire, HTC Legend, Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini etc. If we start with the recent stuff, Motorola Milestone has been around the UK market for a few months now, but is only available at Expansys. Now you can get it without any problem from Carphone Warehouse as well now, that too with your choice of contract.

Then we have the ultimate two latest Android smartphones by HTC - the HTC Desire and the HTC Legend. These will be shipped by the Amazon UK somewhere in the first week of April. The HTC Desire costs 529 GBP (583 euro) while it's cheaper version, the HTC Legend, sells for 400 GBP (approximately 442 euro).

The very small Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini pro and the even tinier X10 mini will be available at Expansys somewhere around 13 of April. Also two more Sony Ericsson devices will start with the shipping within a month. The Vivaz, which is already available for preorder, will hit the shelves on 12 March on Vodafone network.

The long awaited Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 is also expected to become available in either March (at T-Mobile UK) or sometime in April (at Vodafone UK).
