This is something interesting that we have found and it will surely interest most of our readers too. We found out a very interesting survey by AdMob, about mobile phone usage and the owners pattern. You will find charts at the link below which will make it clearer, we’ll just highlight things a bit here. According to this survey the regular iPhone owner and an Android phone owner would download eight or nine apps a month. Yes this is just getting started!
Mobile user
iPhone, iPod Touch and WebOS are usually used on a fifty-fifty basis distribution between males and females, but as far as Android is concerned, almost 73% of its users are male. Almost 65% of all users of the iPod Touch are people 17 years old or younger. The average ages for the platforms are: iPhone - 37 years, iPod Touch - 23, Android - 35 and WebOS – 36.

Now almost 91% of iPhone owners will recommend buying an iPhone to a friend, for Android the percentage is 84% and only 69% of WebOS users will recommend it with 20% answering "maybe".

Smartphones take the cake by generating almost half of the internet traffic. Now 50% of that comes from Apples products; with Android and Symbian creating 20% of the traffic each. Windows Mobile doesn’t look quite good as it stands at the lowly 2%.
