Microsoft has a lot of plans this year, one of those is no less than launching a mobile phone based on the Windows Mobile 7. We all are pretty familiar with Windows Phone 7 and hopefully by the end of the year we'll see smartphones based on it totally. Microsoft’s own phone will be launched in 2011, but as far as rumours are to be believed, it will be taken care of by Asus.
![]() Windows Phone 7 I a completely new dimension in Microsoft’s OS history, not just another new chapter. They have presumably started over. They have given phone OS a rebirth. According to the Northeast Securities analyst Ashok Kumar, the company has yet to show off its true potential. We have seen many things from Microsoft so why not a branded mobile. I’m sure many would be head over heels in love with only the idea! Rumours have it that Asus will begin the manufacturing process from early next year. Again based on what we have been hearing about this phone, Windows Phone 7 smartphone will probably be a touchscreen-equipped bar made by Asus. This report has neither been denied nor accepted by both of the companies as yet. Source Related ArticlesRelated articles to Windows Phone 7 device to be manufactured by Asus?.
