We all thought that Windows Mobile 6 was finally going bye bye but it seems that our guesses were wrong as Microsoft is now coming up with this latest thing called the Windows Phone 6 Starter Edition, which many people are suggesting will be effective for rugged field computing and will be available in many countries. The Windows Phone 6 Starter Edition supports just about every kind of mobile phone connectivity used today.
 It is equipped with 2G GSM, GPRS, EDGE, CDMA2000, EV-DO Rev A and all the sorts of other significant connections.TD-SCDMA (the Chinese home-brewed 3G)is also present in the set so what more can you ask for! The mobile will be available in two versions - with and without Office Mobile, according to the taste of the consumer. One thing must be kept in mind that the Windows Phone 6 Starter Edition, despite the "Phone" in its name has nothing to do with Windows Phone 7. It is just a rebranded Windows Mobile 6.5.
