There have been a few significant updates to the Windows Marketplace which has resulted in the introduction of some useful new features. There were many things that were constantly being requested by the users, the ability to install apps on the memory card being one. Before this you could not install more than a few apps because of a small internal storage. The problem has been solved now thanks to the new updates.

There is a World View option in the Windows Marketplace which enables you to view apps available for other countries as well. Also this should also be known to you that the Marketplace has expanded into Russia, due to which now the Russian users will be able to buy apps and Russian developers can sign up to post their own applications.

The fee structure for different markets has been taken off now and the restrictions are not that much strict now. They have also allowed VoIP over the data network now unless of course the carrier specifically doesn’t want you to go ahead with it.

Another feature that might come in handy is "Deep linking" which comes with the Windows Marketplace update. It lets developers create links from web pages that bring you straight to the purchase page of a given app. Applications already on the device can make possible the purchasing of the premium versions of free apps.
