Sony Ericsson is having the most fun at MWC 2010 these days. The trhee new phones that they are coming out with are the X10 mini and the X10 mini pro in the XPERIA line. Then there is Vivaz, complete with a QWERTY keyboard. In this article we will discuss the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini and the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini pro. Both run on Android with Timescape as the UI. For those who don’t know, Timescape is the home-brewed UI that brings together all the various communication channels into one.
![]() The basic specs are almost the same like a 2.55” TFT scratch-resistant touchscreen of QVGA resolution, a 600MHz Qualcomm CPU, 5MP camera with auto focus and geotagging. For connectivity there’s quad-band GSM/EDGE and dual-band HSDPA and HSUPA together with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS with A-GPS. The phone is also equipped with a microUSB port, microSD card slot for cards up to 16GB, 2GB card in the box and finally, a 3.5 mm audio jack. The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini is really mini with dimensions of 83 x 50 x 16 mm and 88 grams. The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini pro has a QWERTY keyboard, due to which a bit thicker but still very tiny, especially if we compare it to the other sets with QWERTY. It has dimensions of 90 x 52 x 17 mm and weighs around 120 grams. The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini will be available in Black Pearl, White Lime, Pink and Red Silver, while the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini pro will be available in discreet Black and Red color versions.
