PREVIEW: Samsung S8500 WaveFebruary 21st, 2010 - 11:12 pm by Wajiha H.
Bada is Samsung’s newest baby and they are sure to do everything to make it work. The Samsung S8500 Wave is going to be carrying Bada and this phone is nothing short of being interesting. Touchscreens are everywhere now. Every company is now churning out a touch screen for themselves. The touchscreen that still stands out is the iPhone. Nothing has come even close to the success that it has achieved.
![]() The specs that the Samsung S8500 Wave has are that it is a touchscreen bar, as we all know, it’s 10.9 mm thin, 3.3" 16M-color Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16:9 aspect ratio and 480 x 800 pixels resolution, scratch-resistant glass surface, runs on Bada OS, 1 GHz processor, 2GB internal memory, microSD card slot, 5-megapixels auto-focus camera, 720p video recording, for connectivity it has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, standard microUSB port, GPS receiver with A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, Accelerometer for screen auto rotate, proximity sensor for screen auto-turn-off, ambient light sensor, FM radio with RDS, DivX/XviD support, multi-touch input and pinch-zooming gestures, 1500 mAh battery. So all in all it boasts some good specs and so we can safely assume that Samsung wants to take Bada to great heights now. Of course if this OS gives manages to fulfill the dreams of the company, it will perhaps be the miracle that they need right now; if it doesn’t then that would definitely be drastic to say but the least. We do not know much about what this phone is all about, so maybe we should wait and see what happens. Source Related ArticlesRelated articles to PREVIEW: Samsung S8500 Wave.
