PREVIEW: LG GD880 MiniFebruary 21st, 2010 - 11:05 pm by Wajiha H.
According to the CEO of LG, the Mini was designed to entertain the many customer requests that the company was having. This is just what they wanted; a phone that is not too big, too expensive or too complicated. It is a small phone, smaller than LG BL40 New Chocolate but in no way is this, an incomplete phone nor does it lack anything that should be there. It runs on an LG own S-Class OS and the browser is beautifully designed with rich and vibrant colors that look great on the pixel-dense screen.
![]() Main features are that it is a touchscreen bar, with a size of 102 x 47.6 x 10.6 mm, 99 g, 3.2" TFT capacitive touchscreen with 16:9 aspect ratio and 480 x 854 pixels resolution, multitouch support, scratch-resistant glass surface, runs on Latest S-Class UI, 330MB internal memory, hot-swappable microSD card slot, comes with a 5-megapixels auto-focus camera with image stabilization, geotagging, face detection, Smile Shot, Beauty and Art shot, VGA video recording at 15 fps, as far as connectivity is concerned it is equipped with a Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, standard microUSB port, GPS receiver with A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, Accelerometer for screen auto rotate, proximity sensor for screen auto-turn-off, ambient light sensor, full Flash support, FM radio with RDS, DivX/XviD support, Dolby mobile, pinch zooming in gallery and web browser, office document viewer, Facebook and Twitter integration, 900 mAh battery. So this seems to be a pretty phone, very well-equipped with a nice size but we should be aware of the fact that since it has not been released as yet, the design and software may endure some changes before final release.
