Nokia X10 to be launched?

Nokia’s claim to fame at the MWC 2010 was just the show of their new Meego. Though there still are some rumours of first Symbian devices like the Nokia X10. We have just found out a video on the net which is supposedly of the purported phone. It promises a QWERTY keyboard, an AMOLED screen and many other amazing specs. Nokia N8, was the first ever Symbian device with 12MP camera with 720p video powers and now it seems that Nokia X10 will be the first “Symbian^3” powered phone.
Nokia X series
The new touch-enabled branch of Symbian was introduced through the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic a long time back. The Nokia X10 on the other hand offers a lot more than that. First of all, it is a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard design, will be powered by a Cortex A8 CPU at 600MHz and have 256MB of RAM, with 16GB or 32GB of internal memory. We do not know anything about whether or not there will be a microSD card slot yet.

Then the screen on the Nokia X10 is rumoured to be a 3.2" AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, there is a 5MP camera with LED flash and 3G with HSDPA/HSUPA, Wi-Fi, GPS and an accelerometer for UI auto-rotation.

We don’t think that there is any Snapdragon-powered Symbian phone in sight or a MeeGo phone but the Nokia X10 rumor is a breather especially after the disappointing show put up by Nokia at the mwc.
