HTC HD2 Smartphones to have 576MB of RAMFebruary 7th, 2010 - 07:46 pm by W.Naqvi

They usually disable one feature or the other to increase the curiosity of their users. But this is a bit extreme we think. Disabling a GPS or an FM radio unit is quite understandable as usually you just need some software to utilize it, but hiding such a big part of RAM, is something we have yet to make sense of.
![]() It seems that the surprise party doesn’t end here; you should also remember the awesome Wi-Fi 802.11n support that you have to enable on your own in all sets of HTC HD2 Smartphones. So it seems that all HTC HD2’s have 576MB aboard, you just have to unlock the hidden amount of memory using some custom ROMs. But of course all this time one can’t help but wonder what could instigate a move such as this. Well you have to consult the xda-developers forum and read a thread on this; following the simple steps enlisted there you will be able to enjoy the extra amount of RAM memory without any unnecessary hard work. Here’s the catch though, there are some rumours that doing this could void your warranty. We aren’t sure yet. Source Related ArticlesRelated articles to HTC HD2 Smartphones to have 576MB of RAM.
