Fennec Alpha 4 browser announced by MozillaFebruary 22nd, 2010 - 11:43 pm by Wajiha H.
Over the past few years mobile web browsers have seen a cut throat competition. Everyone is coming up with a presumably better browser due to which they’re always alert for any new changes that might affect their place in the market. Mozilla, makers of the Firefox browser for PC’s, have higher grounds to conquer though. They have lately announced their Fennec Alpha 4 browser especially for the Windows Mobile platform!
![]() This surely is something that doesn’t really look like it’s going to work as Microsoft itself has recently announced the launch of the Windows Phone 7 Series mobile operating system. This was highly anticipated as in this version, users can expect a range of improvements and bug fixes which might include improved interactions with the software keyboard, responsive “fuzzy” zoom, improved panning/scrolling performance, faster start-up time, password echoing, ability to scroll frames, and improved kinetic panning with directional locking. Of course this is not all we expect from the application but the company should keep their interest and of course keep developing the whole thing.
