Nexus one has been shipping SIM-free to USA, UK, Hong Kong and Singapore, but the situation is not that heartening outside the US. Rumours are that Vodafone will be making this thing possible for the UK consumers. Nexus one will see the light of the day in the UK, courtesy Vodafone. But as long as that is not happening your order means that you will get the mobile directly shipped from the US. Provided you order one right now, you will have to pay around 529 US dollars plus 30 US dollars DHL shipping plus 20 US dollars for an optional UK power adapter.

Now if you are not considering a UK power adapter then you are looking at a figure of around 656 US dollars which is seriously not that bad as it makes around 410 GBP or 450 euro. Now definitely due to such high costs involved, Vodafone are being pushed from users to get those phones subsidized in the UK as soon as possible. A while back Google announced Vodafone UK will be getting the phone in March 2010. But according to a Vodafone spokesperson it will only going to be "a few short weeks" before they get it. A FAQ section that they have created that even in the UK the phone will be sold only through the Google website and not manually.
