Vodafone lovers can now get an iPhone from them anytime now as it has started selling iPhones in the UK, both 3G and 3Gi. It was actually well on time as Vodafone UK happens to be the last one in the line to offer iPhone to its consumers. There have been no changes in the prices; you can get yourself a brand new iPhone for 45 pounds each month for the next two years. Even though the prices of these iPhones seem quite unfair, many consumers are ready to jump on to the bandwagon of iPhone.
![]() On the opening day alone which was Juanuary 14th more than 50,000 units were sold which is huge when we compare it with for instance Orange's first day of sales, which reached only 30 000 iPhones! So huge difference there indeed. Along with the main launch, Vodafone is also planning to release two special apps for the long awaited smartphone. The first one is the free Vodafone 360 People Sync App, which will aid customers to conveniently transfer their contacts to the iPhone from almost 500 supported phones. The other one is the Vodafone Navigation App which helps you with a voice guided turn-by-turn navigation to the iPhone. You will be able to use it till the end of April 2010 for free but after that if you really want to keep it, you will have to part with at least 3 pounds each month until your contract expires or 5 pounds if you go for the month by month option.
