GSMA announced Global Mobile Awards 2010 nominees!January 24th, 2010 - 06:30 pm by Wajiha H.
The nominees for the Global Mobile Awards 2010 have at last been announced by the GSMA a couple of days ago or so. Of course we have all been guessing who the nominees would be and it seems that most of our guesses were right after all. Almost everything is exciting right from the best mobile game and closing with the best handset of the past year. Let’s take a short review of the nominees for the golden night for mobiles.
![]() For the "Best Mobile Game" award the nominees are The Sims 3, Farm Frenzy, Hero of Sparta, The Last City or Speedhero. For the category of the “Best Mobile Handset” almost six phones will be competing with each other to get the award. These are of course the BlackBerry Bold 9700, Samsung S5230 Star, HTC Hero, Samsung I8910 Omnia HD and Nokia N97 Mini. These were a just a few of the many nominees but if you really are curious about the complete nominees list you can go to the official website and see for yourself. Of course in a couple of weeks we shall actually see the winners which will be a far better treat of course. Last year we were a bit surprised when INQ1 triumphed over LG KS360, T-Mobile G1, BlackBerry Storm 9500 and Nokia E71. The basic attraction of this phone is its loyalty with Facebook and immaculate FM services, Skype and Windows Live Messenger. RIM won The Mobile Technology Breakthrough award for their outstanding SurePress screen on the first BB Storm which was of course very well-deserved.
