Two new Android App stores to be offered?

New apps for the iPhone, the iPod touch and Blackberry devices have been unveiled by VoIP provider Vonage recently. You can access these apps through the iTunes Store and Vonage's mobile Web site. Apparently the apps are free to download, but an unlimited international calling plan will run $24.99 per month. Also different countries get different calling rates. Of course existing Vonage World customers are in for a treat as they will hopefully be saving around $10 when adding Vonage Mobile, for a total price of $14.99 per month.

You will be able to make countless calls all over the US over Wi-Fi and that too without using up cell phone minutes! That is exactly the beauty of this program. Numbers remain the same whereas the users will be able to call from their present address book without the use of any calling cards or PIN codes, according to Vonage.

Now in order to start with the installation you will have to click the "Download App" link on the iPhone, iPod touch, or BlackBerry pages, after which a message will be sent to you by Vonage along with a link to download Vonage Mobile. You just have to follow the steps word by word.

Ok here’s the tough deal, only 15 countries can be made calls too and even on them there are some tough restrictions with making calls to cell phones in other countries. These countries include the Bahamas, Brunei, China, Guam, Hong Kong, India, Macau, Malaysia, Saipan, Puerto Rico, San Marino, Singapore, Thailand, United States, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

If you want to call someone in Australia, France, Germany, and Japan you must call on the landline numbers. The company had announced only lately that Apple had approved its App Store application, but not much could be shared at that time due to the lack of knowledge.
