Sprint has recently announced that its version of the BlackBerry Curve 8530 has now hit the markets and can be purchased easily. Blackberry Curve 8530 is basically the same as 8520 with the exception of it being a CDMA version. T-Mobile were offering this set for the last couple of months. It is not an exact copy of the 8520 though as instead of the 3.2 megapixel camera of the Curve it is equipped with a simple 2 megapixel camera.

Also it comes with a new optical trackpad controller for navigation instead of the trackball that has been a BlackBerry specialty since long. Another good thing about the Blackberry Curve 8530 is that it is pretty affordable when compared to the other Curve versions. It features an in-built GPS receiver than can be used for geo-tagging photos recorded with the phone's camera. At least 10 email accounts can be set up on the new 8530, and it also comes with Sprint's 3G EV-DO network.

Moreover it can work with local Wi-Fi networks, has a built-in microSDHC(INFO) memory card slot which can support today's 16GB cards as well as future 32GB cards. This way you can have all the storage space you want to maintain music files that can be played with the phone's media player. It has You a convenient 3.5mm stereo headphone jack which means that you can now use a lot of different headphones on the phone.

It is being said that the new BlackBerry Curve 8530 from Sprint is available for $49.99 with a 2 year agreement, after a $100 mail-in rebate.
