Samsung has only recently announced its new Diva collection consisting two new phones, the Samsung S7070 Diva and the Samsung S5150 Diva folder. This has basically been released as a fashion accessory and will be liked by all the divas out there, to be sure. Lets take a look at both of these sets one by one. We wont be giving a lot on Samsung S7070 Diva as a more detailed preview will be posted soon.
Samsung Diva

Basically, the Samsung S7070 Diva is a touchscreen bar, with a pearly-white embossed quilted back cover and gem-like center key on the front, a thing that shouts luxury. Of course there is nothing special about the phone itself, as is the case with many of these phones. It is very basic touch phone - 2.8" QVGA resistive touchscreen, 3-megapixel camera, microSD card slot, Bluetooth and FM radio with RDS. You can read the whole preview in the next article.

I’ll concentrate more on the other phone in the Diva collection, the Samsung S5150 Diva folder. Manufactured with flip form factor, the Samsung S5150 Diva folder is quite comparable to the S7070 Diva as far as the features are concerned nothing significantly different there except for the screen, which is 2.2" big with QVGA resolution. The connectivity is also not very special with its tri-band GSM/EDGE support.

What is different is the exterior of the Samsung S5150 Diva folder which is embossed in a silver-toned, square pattern containing an external LED display, which disappears when it's off. It notifies of incoming calls or it can show a clock. It is said that this awesome collection will officially be launched somewhere in January 2010 in Netherlands, Russia, Ukraine and other European countries, with Southeastern Asia and China releases following soon after.
