Samsung finally comes out with Bada OS!December 11th, 2009 - 05:22 pm by Wajiha H.
Samsung has just come out with their brand new Smartphone operating system, Bada, a thing that was eagerly awaited by many Smartphone enthusiasts. The OS revolves around Samsung’s TouchWiz User Interface, so much so that even the designs that they presented at the conference were strikingly similar to the Samsung Pixon12 UI. Now this OS can be used only on full-touch handsets only due to which we could be seeing a lot of new Smart phones spring up next year.
![]() The very fact that it is a smartphone only OS, means that the users will be able to tap into various mobile phone features and sensors pretty easily. This will also make it easy for the developers to construct useful and interactive applications. There will be a lot of services that this new OS will be proving to its user e.g. the Bada OS differentiator. Other things like social networking services, device synchronization, content management, location-based services, and e-commerce services will all be supported by back-end Bada servers, thus making it a better way to communicate. The good thing is that the company seems adamant to make this OS work but things can be a bit more certain once we see the OS working in reality. They are saying that the first set supporting Bada OS is going to be launched somewhere in the middle of 2010 so let’s keep our fingers crossed. This is a phone that will be catering to the less fortunate users so that they can also enjoy the wonders of a Smartphone extensively as a Bada slogan rightly suggests: "Smartphones for everyone". It has also been observed that Samsung is taking cues from presentation guru Apple, to help them with their presentation techniques, which is a very good but we do hope that they are able to develop the application and its user base just as perfectly.
