REVIEW: Nokia 5230December 15th, 2009 - 11:13 pm by Wajiha H.
The Nokia 5230 is a smartphone but a phone that is affordable to the lower segment of the market very easily. Nokia have a range of low key smartphones waiting to be released as according to them everyone should have an access to smartphones easily. The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic was a great hit with the music lovers so it is being suspected that the same will be the case with the 5230 . It will be available both ways through retail stores and carriers.
![]() Key features of the phone include 3.2" 16M-color TFT LCD 16:9 touchscreen display (360 x 640 pixels), Symbian S60 5th edition, ARM 11 434 MHz CPU, 128MB RAM memory, Quad-band GSM support, 3G with HSDPA 3.6Mbps support, Built-in GPS receiver with A-GPS support; Ovi maps, 2 megapixel fixed focus camera with and VGA@30fps video, microSD card memory expansion, ships with a 4GB card, FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth with A2DP and USB v2.0, Standard 3.5mm audio jack, Accelerometer sensor for automatic UI rotation, motion-based gaming and turn-to-mute, Ovi integration (direct image and video uploads, Ovi Contacts), Landscape on-screen virtual QWERTY keyboard, Excellent audio quality, Price tag on the cheap side, Changeable color battery covers (two extra ones available in-box), etc. Now of course the price is cheap so you won’t be able to get all that you might want to as far as facilities are concerned. You can also easily choose between Wi-Fi and 3G with GPS. You can’t have it custom made as yet but whatever the company is offering regarding this phone is absolutely amazing at this price range.
