It has been sometime that Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition became available across various countries all around the world, and now it seems the awesome set has made its way to the USA, finally. The best thing about this is that the price is lower than elsewhere, the thing that usually happens! Now Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition is an upgraded version of the immensely popular Nokia 5800 XpressMusic touchscreen device and is equipped with a lifetime voice-guided navigation for North America and a car kit to make users able to mount it on a dashboard or windshield.

This edition makes use of the Ovi Maps for mobile, which offer real-time turn-by-turn navigation both in vehicle and on foot. The Ovi Maps has many features like safety precautions for speed limit, speed camera alerts, also it gives you some information about traffic congestion due to roadwork or accidents but that is not real-time. if you’re walking you will be given directions at that time too like routes that take a pedestrian up one-way streets and through parks, pathways and other shortcuts.

Google Maps Navigation is one mobile that everyone wants to get, you can also my previous article on that. But unlike that there is one facility that you just can’t ignore, the ability this set gives to preload the map data on the Nokia 5800 so you don't have to download it over the air as you are on the go.

Ok now the basic difference between the prices, when this set is bought from Nokia USA's online store the SIM-free Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition will cost only 299 US dollars (200 euro), discounted which is low as far as the other markets are concerned.
