Motorola Backflip photos now out!!December 21st, 2009 - 01:29 pm by Wajiha H.
The Motorola Backflip is an Android phone which is not official yet, but is very interesting as it was designed by a person completely lacking spatial awareness. Now the Motorola Backflip is a rather interesting phone and the name suits it too as you will see on seeing the pictures. There is nothing very different from Motorola CLIQ (or Motorola DEXT MB220) but still the charm of a Motorola phone and that too backflip is enough to draw customers.
![]() So the specs are the usual it is an Android device with Motoblur, with a 3.1" HVGA display, 528MHz CPU, 256MB RAM/512MB ROM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. There are no Google applications present except for the Google Maps. It comes with a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash but, yes, it’s the placement of that very camera that makes the set “a bit” problematic. The QWERTY keyboard of this phone is at the back whereas the display is on the front.*Ouch*. But don’t worry, it does not remain that way, you can fold the Motorola Backflip open, and things will definitely start to look normal. But yes, get ready for this, the camera is on the keyboard!! You must have gathered that this is a pretty strange camera we are talking about. And the strangeness doesn’t end here; you can also find a touchpad on the back of the screen, which can be used for scrolling when you open the phone. Ok I must confess that most of these specs are just rumoured and there is nothing definite about them but there is another feature that I think I should let you know about, the device might be a quad-band GSM/EDGE and quint-band 3G. That is 5 bands in a row - 850/900/1700/1900/2100MHz. That’s too much for a phone to handle but let’s see how the things unfold.
