So this is Google’s own phone that we are talking about and no one can take care of Google search better than the maestro itself. Due to which they have been regularly upgrading their OS and have also come up with some new features for Android, called Google Goggles and What's Nearby. These features look promising but of course nothing can be said about them unless they’re tested fully. Google Goggles enables users to make use of their Andoid 1.6+ handset's camera to kick off Google search with an image, instead of making use of words.

Goggles can identify landmarks, masterpieces of art and other conspicuous products but of course they want to improve other often neglected areas too sometime. “What’s nearby” is another feature for Google Maps which allows users to just put their finger tip at a place on the map and get a list of the 10 closest points of their interest, including restaurants, shops and others. What a fun way to use an internet!

The mobile version of google.com will also be launching a facility called “Near me now” pretty soon for iPhone users as well. Also the voice search feature on Android is also getting an update and also offers Japanese language along with the popular English and Mandarin.
