Ah! Our beloved Android family; can’t get enough of it and of course it keeps growing as the public is loving these handsets. Google has just come up with a device dashboard. Also it has just been discovered that their mobile web apps will now be better, faster, and stronger. Also HTC has released new Sense UI widgets for the Hero and Droid Eris for their better performance. So all over the world good things are happening with our beloved Android handsets. Let’s delve more into what exactly this is all about.

It can easily be seen that the 1.5 devices have a share of more than a quarter of all devices when the primary goal for developers should definitely be version 1.6. There are some new Gmail features liek full label support, swipe to archive, smart links, faster address auto-complete, outbox, enhanced refresh and auto-expanding boxes, which have been introduced too. The last thing that has been happening in the world of Androids is that HTC have recently launched some new widgets compatible with the HTC Hero and the CDMA-based HTC Droid Eris.
