Acer comes out with the Acer Liquid!!

Now these are interesting and progressive times; companies like Dell, Toshiba, HP and of course Apple are venturing into the smartphone business, whereas the established handset manufacturer Nokia has only recently come out with a brand new netbook, the Nokia Booklet 3G. Acer has made sure that their strategy is not about quantity but quality as they’re new in this business and have lot to learn. They know they can’t compete with the big phones so they just want to do whatever they can right now with style and finesse. Apple did this and now look where iPods, iPhones have taken it.

So Acer is thinking about grabbing a 6-7% market share for smartphones in three to five years. Even the current predictions show that Acer has the ability to the limit of 1 million phones sales sometime next year. Clove UK preordered Acer for around 286 pounds (329 US dollars) for the UK. Expansys Spain has preordered it for 340 euro (508 US dollars). We can also see the Acer Liquid in France in December.
