Sony Ericsson Kurara ; some pictures and specs leak out!November 19th, 2009 - 11:45 pm by Wajiha H.
Sony Ericsson Satio is the latest addition to the fraternity of Sony Ericsson and even that is going to be blessed with a successor very soon in the shape of Sony Ericsson Kurara! Now this is a nickname given to this set; it is being said that this set will have more or less the same specs as Satio but is definitely going to be a bit more compact. The design is especially worth taking time and noticing because it is strange but attractive to say but the least.
![]() Some images of the new set were leaked on the net some time ago and to tell you the truth they do appear promising. If we go by the photos especially, we can clearly see that there is an HD written on the back; another thing which actually gives us the clue that a camera of at least 8 MP will be gracing the handset. There will possibly be one thing that both the Kurara and Satio will share and that is the ARM Cortex with PowerVR SGX graphics, a common processer. There will be some differences as well like the touchscreen will be a bit smaller that is around 3.2". The Sony Ericsson Kurara/ U5 will be equipped with a 1200 mAh battery, Wi-Fi with DLNA, HSDPA and HSUPA support and a built-in GPS receiver. A microSD card slot will also be present therein. Also in the place of the FastPort, there will be a new and more convenient microUSB port which is covered by a protective lid due to which it is not that feasible to spot on the photos leaked so far but it will be there according to reliable resources. There is also going to be a 3.5mm audio jack on board. Now these specs and the pictures were leaked on the internet and by no means are confirmed by the company so we should just take a look at them without putting much trust in them unless they get approved by an official.
