Samsung B7300 OmniaLITE Review: Dazzling beautyNovember 5th, 2009 - 08:31 am by Wajiha H.
This beautiful set, Samsung B7300 OmniaLITE is one of those sets, which are bent upon making Windows Mobile a well respected not to mention convenient name among the masses. The thing that makes this set unique is the introduction of WinMo 6.5, the updated version. This little full-touch handset, Samsung B7300 OmniaLITE, has all the basic essentials that make these sets what they actually are but much to our amazement have added some extras as well.
![]() The key features of this dazzling set are 3" 65K-color resistive touchscreen of WQVGA resolution, Quad-band GSM support, 3G with 3.6 Mbps HSDPA, Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional OS with TouchWiz UI, Samsung ARM 1176 667MHz CPU and 256 MB of RAM, 3 megapixel autofocus camera with smile detection and VGA@15fps video, Built-in GPS receiver with A-GPS, Wi-Fi with DLNA, FM radio with RDS, DivX and XviD video support right out of the box, Stereo Bluetooth 2.1, standard microUSB port, Office document viewer and editor, excellent response and performance and above average audio quality. For those of you who are not aware of the fact, Samsung B7300 OmniaLITE specs are almost as good as the original Omnia. Apart from some minor differences, the basics are all the same. There are things that have been compromised upon in order to add a few more specs to the set. For example the doubled RAM and standard microUSB port have been provided by compromising on the screen size and the camera quality. But these are not as big as differences to make them sound completely opposite from each other. Fact is, these devices are as similar as anything apart from a few glaring differences. Samsung are definitely not thinking about making this set extremely affordable as it does involve extra hard work. But the real question is whether this LITE version is going to survive the popularity of the original Omnia! For this a lot has to be taken in consideration like quality and ergonomics of the B7300 and whether they are up to the mark (in this case the elder brother) You can read the whole review here.
