REVIEW: HTC HD2 SnapdragonNovember 11th, 2009 - 07:57 pm by Wajiha H.
HTC is out with their HTC HD2 recently and the good news is that the hugely anticipated set runs on snapdragon. HTC has tried to do the thing that not many have been able to achieve, that is they have tried to fit in a 4.3-inch screen in a phone that is way smaller than the Toshiba TG01, the very first Snapdragon-based device ever to be released. So let’s find out what this awesome handset is all about; let’s find out about the key features.
![]() The most outstanding things about this set are that it is GSM, touchscreen bar phone, 4.3" 65K-color TFT capacitive touchscreen, 800 x 480 pixels WVGA, multi-touch support, runs on Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon 1 GHz processor, Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional; HTC Sense user interface (formerly TouchFLO 3D), has 512MB worth of storage, microSD card slot, 2GB card included in the retail box, 5 megapixel auto-focus camera with touch focus and dual-LED flash; VGA@30 video recording, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, standard microUSB port, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, up to 6 h 20 min talk time, 490 h standby, 8 h video playback, 12 h music playback which is really great stuff. Built-in accelerometer and digital compass, proximity and ambient light sensors, carrying pouch in box, optional car kit, CoPilot navigation software (trial version), Wi-Fi router software, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter integration, HTC Footprints. This is a good hand set to have and hold as the quality of all the materials that it has been made with is marvelous to say but the least. The screen is its power mainly, so much so that you can find yourself falling in love with the phone The thing with smartphones is that they have large screens due to which other important things or features have to be compromised upon. This is a difficult phone as far as handling it singly is concerned; it seriously is not very possible.
