Nokia X6 releasing in the UK finally!!

And when we were about to lose our hopes for the release of Nokia X6 in the UK anytime soon, the company comes up with another release date for this highly anticipated phone; only this time, the little bird says, it’s for real and that too within this week! It was all set to be launched in the UK and Finland along with a Rihanna concert on the 16th of November but got postponed; according to one official announcement it should now hit the stores anytime this week.
Phones 4U (Orange UK) will be stocking up this handset in the UK. The expected cost is 35 pounds on a monthly contract but if you currently have an Nseries handset and you’re willing to part ways with it - the monthly tax will be somewhere around 25 pounds. Nokia UK also offers online shopping facility where you can preorder the Nokia X6 for 449 pounds (747 US dollars or 498 euro) and get it SIM-free. Expansys were offering it for 530 pounds, before they pulled it from their site, for some unknown reasons.

News is that Nokia X6 will be available in Finland this week too, though nothing else is known about this in detail. This will eventually push the company towards offering the lovely X6 in more countries as well. Nokia Germany is now offering the X6 on its website for 580 euro on preorder; the handsets will be shipped somewhere around the 1st of December. The price, if you have noticed, is a bit on the higher side but that of course includes the shipment charges as well. There will be a marked difference when the handset finally becomes available in Germany.

These prices are inclusive of the 1-year Comes With Music subscription, which enables you to download music from the Nokia Music Store for free (excluding data charges). It also means that you can keep the songs even after that 1-year period runs out. Also another attractive thing about Nokia X6 is that it comes with the WH-500 headphones and 32GB of built-in memory, making it any gadget freak’s dream.
