This is basically for all of those people who think that Nokia always churns up sets which are highly priced but do not promise a lot. But the company, keeping true to its previous reputation keeps coming out with cheap but extremely dignified sets which can be worn almost everywhere. The Nokia 1280 has basically been designed while keeping the developing countries, their issues and their per capita income. We don’t want to burden our customers with unnecessary details.
![]() So the mobile consists of many attractions, there is this Agricultural part which offers weather forecasts, pricing information for crops, seeds, fertilizers and pesticides, as well as some general farming advice and tips. Come towards the Education tools now which consist of basic English courses in the local language and the Entertainment suite delivers news, game scores and other information. Another thing is that all this data is delivered through SMS, so won’t even have to use GPRS in order to stay connected to the world. It is a tough set for tough public. It has a very admirable dust-resistant keypad and scratch-resistant cover. It is being said that the set is going to be available right first quarter of 2010 at an amazing price of 20 euro (29.50 US dollars) before taxes and subsidies.
