HTC TouchFLO! Something for everyone?November 5th, 2009 - 11:49 pm by Wajiha H.
HTC doesn’t do affordable; as they are Smart phones experts and they are known to be expensive as are all good things in life. But having said that HTC had to come up with something for the regular people as well. HTC has come out with Touch2 lately which is a small step towards becoming more accessible to the common man. This mobile is being touted as a new landmark, but the people who have used the first HTC device will still try and compare it with the original thing.
![]() Some of the basic features of this set are a 2.8" 65K-color QVGA display, Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional OS with TouchFLO, Quad-band GSM support, 3G with HSDPA 7.2Mbps, Wi-Fi connectivity, Built-in GPS receiver with A-GPS support, Stereo FM radio with RDS, 3 MP fixed focus camera, microSD card slot, touch-sensitive zoom bar, standard miniUSB port and Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP, standard 3.5mm audio jack, MS Office Mobile document editor and is compatible with all social networks. But there are some drawbacks that the set contains, unfortunately. The display resolution is pretty Low-end, its camera doesn’t have auto focus, flash, geotagging or a dedicated camera key, there is a poor screen sunlight legibility, no secondary video-call camera and no handwriting recognition. The screen is a big turn off, if truth is to be told. This is a QVGA 2.8-incher that we are talking about and these are now ancient, technologically speaking. But the price is good, a little lesser than the Cookie but a bit around the famous Corby. Well, if you really go through the whole thing you will find out that HTC Touch2 is not a bad deal after all. If nothing else grabs your attention the fact that it is the first HTC phone to have Windows Mobile 6.5 as an OS. You can be rest assured that the equipment used in this HTC mobile is no lesser than what has been used in the other models. It is an upgrade through and through and the fact that it runs on the latest WinMo, packs Wi-Fi, HSDPA and an inbuilt GPS receiver only adds to its overall appeal. Before you go and get yourself a set, the best idea would be to perhaps read the review in detail here. Related ArticlesRelated articles to HTC TouchFLO! Something for everyone?.
