Google Earth for iPhone updatedNovember 18th, 2009 - 11:58 pm by Wajiha H.
I think I have mentioned this before but anyway I will try and explain everything that has been updated. This is exactly one year after the launch of the first ever Google Earth release into the App Store, which happened to be Google's one and only Google Earth for mobile app. And the time has finally come when the successful thing gets updated itself. There have been many new features some of which are an easy access to the custom maps you've created on your computer, localization in 13 new languages and improved performance and icon selection.

If you buy this handset under this illusion you are in for a shock because it looks exactly the same to people who don’t have any expertise in these matters. You will be able to view custom maps on your iPhone. But to do that you need to have saved maps on your Google Earth account on your computer and then after logging on with your Maps account into the iPhone's Google Earth and you will have the same custom maps there. Now with this way you will be able to view other people’s maps as well. Now another improvement has definitely also been seen that is the icons are touchscreen! That is so delightful. What happens is that on touching a specific icon you will be causing it to glow leaving you with no questions about it! of course if you have touched just one of those a list will appear on the screen almost promptly. Finally, Google Earth is available 31 languages, which means there are 13 more coming with the 2.0. You can update your app immediately through the App Store, but keep in mind it is more than 10 MB in download size. Related ArticlesRelated articles to Google Earth for iPhone updated.
