In the UK there are two carriers who are offering the iPhone these days; O2 and Orange. O2 was the first one to have launched the set in the UK, making Orange the second one. The latest iPhone equipped with Intel, is probably going to be launched somewhere around the 10 of November and is being awaited for extremely impatiently.

Orange UK has recently entered an agreement with Apple under which it is going to be offering iPhone 3G and 3GS in the UK. The official release plan was kept under a tight security until the Guardian UK released it in a press conference. Both Orange and Vodafone have announced their deals with Apple so that they can offer iPhone 3G and 3GS in the UK. According to the Guardian UK, iPhone 3G and 3GS will be launched by Orange UK on the 10 of November.

This is supposed to be the date when the deal that O2 has with Apple expires in the UK. Now it is quite understandable that consumers will start thinking about whether or not the prices will be reduced, well, many chances are that they won’t be. The price at which Orange is offering the iPhone is almost the same as the O2. Still the users will be getting a few supplementary benefits as it will probably be equipped with some bonus accessories or pre-loaded applications.

Even before the release date, some 200 000 users have already gotten themselves registered to get the iPhone from Orange as soon as it hits the market. These Orange iPhones will only be available at the Orange stores, Phones4U and Carphone Warehouse in around two weeks time, all around the UK.
